Job Description
Under the supervision of the foreman, the millwright is responsible for supporting the site team. He will collaborate with other millwrights, welders, and tradespeople to provide quality technical field support, primarily on mobile crushers in a mining context.
Main responsibilities :
- Read mechanical plans, diagrams, and schematics;
- Install, adjust, inspect, and repair fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment;
- Perform piping work;
- Operate various lifting devices;
- Carry out preventive maintenance and planned shutdowns on mining sites;
- Perform welding (manual and semi-automatic), brazing, and metalwork;
- Diagnose and repair mobile crushers used on mining sites.
Requirements :
- Relevant experience in crusher maintenance;
- Welding experience (CWB certification, high-pressure welding is an asset);
- English (an asset).
